I have only played the remake of the first game but I'm now looking at original footage. At least the first game hooks you right in with crazy Shodan. So far it is a more boring copy of the first game. In this game I have gone through 20 same looking rooms with nothing but the same loot.Īnd people praise the story for being better than the first. In the first game the first area is so packed with stuff to discover that you can basically play non stop because you find something new every room. Turn around and they just spawn directly behind you.Īnd the first area is so boring, so generic. Get detected by a security camera for a second and the game just dumps like 8 enemies on you that literally spawn right out of your fov.
The gameplay feels so much worse than the first.
Like not just all the technical problems.
